Nikki Withrow |
Nikki earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology from Grand Valley State University in 2012, and her law degree from Michigan State University (MSU) College of Law in 2016. While in law school, she clerked with the FOCB and demonstrated her interest in domestic relations topics. Nikki interned with Judge Kathleen Feeney of the 17th Circuit Court Family Division and also participated in MSU’s Chance at Childhood Clinic as a student clinician where she conducted custody, parenting time, and guardianship reviews. Nikki was sworn in to the Michigan Bar in 2017, during a private swearing-in ceremony conducted by Judge Feeney.
Nikki began her post-law school career as a policy analyst with the Office of Child Support (OCS). While at OCS, Nikki was the subject-matter expert on all things establishment. She published manual sections on family violence and paternity establishment, drafted various IV-D memorandums and FAQs, and participated in numerous workgroups. From her new role with FOCB, Nikki will continue to serve on the Establishment Work Improvement Team.
Nikki is passionate about providing holistic services to families so children can have the best lives possible. She is excited to be back with the FOCB and is already diving into several projects. Outside of work, Nikki is involved in her church and loves spending time with her husband, family, friends, and dog. Nikki can be reached at WithrowN@courts.mi.gov.
